Once upon a time...na, just kidding, my story doesn't go that way. It's a little more like this...
I disliked school. I disliked reading, it reminded me of school. Until I went to college for nursing. It had a purpose for me and I loved it, well, most of it. It was after graduating and no longer needing to study, that's when I found enjoyment in reading.
My life doesn't lend much free time for curling up with a good book, between 5 children, 2 nursing jobs, working as a massage therapist and fueling the fire for my true passion; photography, I don't get much downtime. But when I get the opportunity, I enjoy the feeling of checking out for a bit and getting lost in a story that isn't mine. I love the magic of words, words that create an image in one's mind. I also love images, photos, a reflection of a moment frozen in time. An image capable of telling a story. I truly believe an image is beyond value. It is priceless.

Hi guys! I'm wicked excited that you stopped by. I keep saying #Icantbelievethisismyjob. It's the truth!
It has taken me a while to get here, by that I mean to gain the confidence I needed to believe I could provide photos that others would pay for and more importantly, to love.
I am a mom of 5 children in a perfectly imperfect blended family. My kids and husband are my world. I work hard for them, but even harder because that's who I am, I am devoted and driven to do my very best. I am a Registered Nurse of 20 years, working in Labor and Delivery for the majority and with special needs children in recent years. I am a proud Army veteran, having served in Germany during the height of the war. More recently I became a licensed Massage Therapist and then in addition a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist.
Then one day, a friend asked if I would take her daughter's senior photos. That photo shoot sparked the fire that burns now with a passion and drive to deliver the best photos each and every time I pick up my camera.
